The Navan Shotokan Karate Club is located at St. OLIVER PLUNKETTS SCHOOL NAVAN, CO. MEATH. The Instructor is Sensei Rhonda Balfe (2nd DAN) contact, USKFI Admin on 086 8958878 or email: uskfi.admin@gmail.com

Training times are:

Monday 5:30pm - 6:30mp
Wednesday 6pm - 7pm.

(Sensei Balfe also has qualifications in Childcare and first Aid)

(left) Leon Hoban who came fourth place in the under 10's kata category and (right) Aliraza Shah who came first place in the under 15's kata category.

The USKF would like to congratulate the junior squad from the Navan Shotokan Karate Club for an excellent result at the JKS Autumn Championships held on Sunday the 28th September in Santry.

For its first competition, the squad did excellent with many students reaching the semi finals, beating opponent of much higher grades.

The USKF would like to especially congratulate students Aliraza Shah for taking first place in the under 15's kata category and Leon Hoban for taking fourth place in the under 10's category. Well done to them both!

Congratulations to Sensei Rhonda Balfe and the new Navan Shotokan Karate Club on a job well done in their first grading on the 12th of July. The students standard was very high on the day, with two students managing to double grade!
