The USKF ran another very successful Referees and Judges course recently. Senseis Michael Sherlock, David Royle and Jennifer Madden, who ran the course, were delighted to see several new participants. The Senseis ran through the competition rules and answered several questions put forward by the participants before moving on to practising in a mock shiajo. In addition, Sensei Bernard Gaffney ran a very successful Timekeepers and Recorders course in conjunction with the main course. The USKF is committed to maintaining a high standard of officiating at its Championships and this is being validated by the regular attendance of officials at these courses. The USKF would like to thank all those who gave up their time to attend.
