Senseis Pat Keegan and Keith Sherlock, 4th Dans

Sensei Raymond Stritch, 5th Dan

The USKFI had an extremely successful day at the KUGB Special Dan Grading on Saturday. Senseis Pat Keegan and Keith Sherlock both gained their 4th Dans while Sensei Raymond Stritch gained his 5th Dan. All three candidates, plus a contingent of seniors from the USKFI, trained at a 2-hour session with Sensei Andy Sherry, 8th Dan, before the trio faced the grading panel of Senseis Sherry, Poynton and Brennan. Passing a grading at this level is a major achievement and it is testament to the amount of training and hard work put in by all that there was a 100% success rate by USKFI members on the day. Congratulations to all three!
